FitzGerald Morris Baker Firth PC advises municipal boards, officials and departments on government operations, planning and zoning review, environmental quality review, and statutory and regulatory compliance. Our attorneys have participated in a wide variety of significant public projects.
Clients currently being served are the Warren-Washington IDA, the Towns of Ticonderoga, Hartford, Kingsbury and Fort Ann, the City of Glens Falls Water and Sewer Board, the Greater Glens Falls Development Corporation and the Glens Falls Urban Renewal Agency.
The firm advises municipalities on various matters, including the adoption of local laws, public works projects, labor issues, planning and zoning, fiscal matters, and contracts and inter-municipal agreements. We serve as counsel to various economic development agencies, and as bond counsel on a host of projects. We also have extensive experience in defending municipal clients against claims and lawsuits.
The firm also serves as Bond Counsel to area municipalities and Industrial Development Agencies and provides representation as legal counsel on claims and litigation. Recent bond projects involved representation for Hamilton County, the Town of Fort Ann, the Village of Salem, the Town of Ticonderoga, the City of Glens Falls, the Town of Queensbury and the Warren-Washington IDA.
