The law firm of FitzGerald Morris Baker Firth (“FMBF”) continues its growth with the announcement of a recent acquisition of The Law Offices of John R. Patterson, Jr.

FMBF and its predecessor firms have been providing a full range of legal services to individuals and institutions throughout the greater Glens Falls area and the North Country since 1936.

Attorney Kathleen J. Fraher and paralegal Lynn M. Telford will continue to offer the same high level of service from their offices in Cambridge and Salem, New York. John R. Patterson, Jr. will work with the firm in an Of Counsel capacity.

“We are excited to welcome John, Kathy, and Lynn to the FMBF family and we feel privileged to be in a position to serve their clients in southern Washington County and northern Rensselaer County,” said John D. Aspland, Jr., Managing Partner of FMBF. “The firm’s expansion into the Cambridge and Salem area is a natural progression; FMBF has maintained an office in central Washington County for more than a decade, and employs several people who reside in Washington County. We are eager to continue in our commitment to assisting local businesses and families. Having grown up in Fort Ann, Washington County and its people have always been a support to me, and their values and culture helped to shape me,” Mr. Aspland said.

The Law Offices of John R. Patterson, Jr., founded in 2007, have been providing legal counsel to individual clients and local municipalities in and around the communities of Cambridge, Salem, and Hoosick Falls. Joining with FMBF will provide clients of the Patterson firm with the added depth of legal expertise of FMBF’s numerous attorneys and professional staff.

“After many years in my own practice, I learned firsthand of FMBF’s excellent representation. Their diversity of practice made me realize that my clients would be exceptionally well served, both now and as I move toward retirement in the future”, said John R. Patterson, Jr.
