Practice Areas

Thomas Ulasewicz is Senior Counsel to FMBF, utilizing his vast experience across the firm, primarily within the Business/Real Estate practice group. His concentration is in environmental law, land use, planning and development, zoning, real property law, government relations, municipal law, historic preservation law and energy law.

Bar Admission

Mr. Ulasewicz is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Northern District of New York. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals, District of Columbia Circuit.

Education

Mr. Ulasewicz earned his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from Marist College.

Affiliations

Mr. Ulasewicz is a member of the New York State Bar Association. He was the Special Assistant to the General Counsel and Acting General Counsel at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, received a fellowship from the German Marshall Fund, and was a NGO Representative to the Executive Body of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe on Transboundary Air Pollution in Geneva, Switzerland. He is a past Executive Director of the New York State Adirondack Park Agency.

Civic Activities

Mr. Ulasewicz is Co-Chairman of the Committee on Adirondacks, Catskills Forest Preserve & Natural Resource Management for the Executive Committee of the Environmental Law Section of the New York State Bar.
